Job Description:

JKKN Institute of Sresakthimyil College of Nursing and Research is seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual for the position of Professor in the Department of Child Health Nursing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership in teaching, research, and service in the field of child health nursing.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in child health nursing, including but not limited to child growth and development, pediatric nursing, and neonatal nursing.
• Conduct high-quality research in the field of child health nursing, including obtaining external funding and publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals.
• Serve as a mentor and advisor to undergraduate and graduate students in the department.
• Provide leadership in the development and implementation of new courses and programs in the department.
• Participate in departmental and college committees, as well as professional and community service activities.
• Demonstrate leadership in promoting the mission and vision of the college.

Qualifications:

• A PhD in child health nursing or a related field.
• A record of significant scholarly contributions in child health nursing, including publications in high-quality, peer-reviewed journals.
• A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in child health nursing at the undergraduate and/or graduate level.
• Demonstrated ability to obtain external research funding and lead a research team.
• Demonstrated leadership and administrative experience in an academic setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
