Job Summary: Â The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial activities within the organization, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and managing a team of accountants. They play a key role in ensuring the financial health of the company and compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Collaborate with department heads to create and manage annual budgets.
- Monitor and report on budget variances.
- Prepare financial forecasts to aid in decision-making.
- Team Management:
- Lead and supervise a team of accountants and financial professionals.
- Assign tasks, set goals, and provide guidance and training to team members.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
- Financial Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns.
- Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and make necessary adjustments.
- Financial Analysis:
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
- Provide recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency.
- Participate in strategic financial planning.
- Cash Management:
- Monitor cash flow to ensure there is sufficient liquidity for day-to-day operations.
- Manage banking relationships, including credit lines and investment accounts.
- Audit and Internal Controls:
- Coordinate and support external audits.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent fraud.
- Cost Management:
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements.
- Analyze costs and recommend strategies to reduce expenses.
- Financial Software and Systems:
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial software and systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree and relevant certifications, such as CPA, CMA, or CFA, may be preferred).
- Proven experience in accounting and finance, with a track record of progressively responsible roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Monthly Salary Rs 50000/- to Rs 60000/-
