Regional Manager – International Student Recruitment (Karnataka & Kerala) BUSINESS FUNCTION/ SUB-FUNCTION:

Business Development ROLE PURPOSE:

Developing channel partner chain (Recruitment Agencies) in the entire south India with a Team size. LOCATION:

Bangalore

The Regional Manager Student Recruitment acts as the strategic and sales leader in driving student recruitment business in our portfolio of MetaApply across the Globe. Their remit is to work through the Student Recruitment, Admissions & Marketing teams, who are responsible for the management of the entire enrolment pipeline, maximizing business opportunities through effective communication, marketing, and sales practices. This position is responsible for leading, developing and implementing the growth strategy that ensures continual enrolment and retention of students, and builds the reputation of MetaApply globally, working closely with the Senior Management Team

This position collaborates with our offices/partnerships globally to ensure a best-in-class service-orientated sales process (the student-parent experience journey), generating enquiries and enrolments that result in required growth.

The person provides leadership, coaching and mentoring to Student Recruitment partners and is responsible for engaging the wider region and Product Success Managers.

Ensure revenue targets are reached, service quality is maintained, and continually improved and operational efficiency maximised.

ROLE and RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead the understanding of the needs of students in the local market (expats and local) and maintain an evidence base that can be shared with Senior Management Team and the Group Oversee the market segmentation in each campus, industry sector and age group, specifying sources of future growth to target through priorities in marketing, admissions and communications plans, external stakeholder engagement, leadership and investment. Lead the understanding of competitors in the local market, and what is appealing or not, to the different student segments. Oversee, align with Product Success Manager, and approve the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) for each product, align to the MetaApply values’ framework, and integrate across all touchpoints relevant to the local market. Support the team to develop a content and events calendar, leveraging global, regional, and local materials to ensure thought-leadership with current and prospective students. Ensure that each product has an outreach program that widens the companies’ network and positive relationships ad reputation in and within the community. Co-lead the development and implementation of the student experience journey with the Global team and take accountability for delivering an outstanding level of customer service in handling enquiries, tours, events, applications, and enrolment. Take the lead responsibility for the identification, development and implementation of relevant projects and business ventures across the region and drive the strategy to grow MetaApply brand and market share. Lead the development, implementation and evaluation of admissions, communication, marketing and student recruitment strategies and action plans to deliver business goals and enhance relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external). Create a strong and interconnected network of marketing and admission leaders across the Products. Support and build relationships with teams to improve the processes through which the business can improve. Ensure key MetaApply messages and value proposition are understood by all student recruitment partners and presented consistently in all marketing materials and student communications. Create, implement, and measure the success of a comprehensive admissions & marketing strategy that will enhance the image of the products as well as MetaApply within the marketplace and the public. Lead, coach and develop student recruitment leaders to deliver against targets. Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to our Admissions and Marketing leaders through a matrix relationship to achieve company admissions targets. Passionately advocate for education and the MetaApply brand and serve as visionary leader within the organization to motivate and create high-performing teams. Identify training needs/gaps in the region and lead the creation of regional learning curriculum related to admissions, marketing, and communications. Identifying and creating partnership with new potential student recruitment agencies and other educational or training providers. Actively involved in assisting the team for achieving the student recruitment target for each intake. Developing and sustaining solid relationships with company stakeholders, recruiting partners and customers. Analysing customer feedback data to determine whether customers are satisfied with company products and services. Supporting the programme management team members to maximise the enrolment. Attending business meetings and providing training to new recruiting partners regularly. Providing insight into product development and competitive positioning. Analysing financial data and developing effective strategies to reduce business costs and increase company profits. Assisting the team for achieving the student recruitment target for each intake. Supporting the team members to maximise the enrolment. Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities. Collaborating with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities. Meeting with potential partners to present company offerings and negotiate business deals.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications/Training MBA in Sales & Marketing

Knowledge/ Experience · Demonstrated success in managing a line of business within international context and driving sales. · Display a strong understanding of key business issues in the Higher Education marketplace. · Exceptional stakeholder management and experience of working first-hand with senior stakeholders, providing expert advice on sales and student recruitment issues. · Proven leadership and management skills are essential, as is the capability to deliver a service that takes full advantage of an integrated sales and business development team. · Extensive influencing, sales, and business development – in Higher Education sector and with a global perspective Minimum of 5 Years
