Job Title: AVP - Revenue Control Group, LD Operations
Location: Bangalore, India
Role Description
The Listed Derivatives (Exchange Traded Derivatives) business offers execution and clearing services for firm clients and internal franchise desks who wish to execute and/or clear listed derivatives (futures and options) across global execution venues (exchanges) and CCP’s (Clearing Houses). The LD business caters to clients in Europe, US and APAC and is supported by dedicated operational teams across the globe.

Your key responsibilities
- Responsible for running a diverse team of 10 FTE’s performing various operational tasks with regards to brokerage settlement of Listed Futures & Options business
- Responsible to define appropriate benchmarks and KPIs for each team and manage adherence.
- Awareness of risks attached and escalate potential risks immediately to senior management
- Ensure required 4eye checks are performed and documented diligently.
- Represent department in regular calls with onshore management and other stakeholders, i.e. Monthly Control Forum, Senior Stakeholder calls etc.
- Manage, motivate, challenge and encourage directs on an individual basis to perform above average and assist in career planning.
- Effectively coordinate and allocate resources to execute strategy.
- Ensure proper cross training to avoid key man dependencies.
- Capable of making decisions in challenging circumstances.
- Proactively drive changes to existing processes to improve effectiveness.
- Partner with IT/CTB to improve system stability and enhance performance.
- Produce meaningful metrics to manage our operational processes effectively.
- Produce meaningful performance MIS and present professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage team to provide accuracy and timeliness in all processes performed and to meet the high client satisfaction standards at all times.
- Represent DB in industry calls
- To escalate unusual activity (high or low volumes or dollar amounts, new client activity, slow systems, delayed approvals etc.)
- Proactively explore solutions to close control gaps, adherence to existing controls, regular review of KSP’s & maintain updated checklists
Your skills and experience
- Minimum 2-3 Years of team management experience
- Futures & Options business and market knowledge.
- Sound understanding of the Futures industry particularly on the Brokerage, Fees & Commissions aspect
- GMI, DOCS & Atlantis knowledge is a must
- Knowledge of required exchange systems
- Accounting/Finance knowledge would be an added advantage
- Control mindset/experience
- Analytical ability to evaluate complex situations and develop
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
