Job Description :We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in data engineering, particularly in Python and SQL. The Data Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, ensuring data is collected, processed, and made available for analysis and business decision-making.In this role, you will act as a critical link between the business partners providing business requirements, and IT teams delivering the solution.Key Responsibilities :Data Pipeline Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into our data storage systems.SQL: Write and optimize the data transformation and data extractionPython, SQL and PySpark: Use Python to build data processing applications and to perform data transformations efficiently.Must have worked on Python libraries like Pandas, Numpy and Scikit-Learn.Data Modelling: Work on data modelling and architecture to ensure the data is structured and organized for analytical purposes.Data Quality and Integration: Collaborate with other teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and smooth integration with various systems.Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data pipelines and processes for better performance and scalability.Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for data engineering processes and procedures.Data Visualization: Knowledge of Power BI / Tableau or other such toolsIdentify valuable data sources and automate collection processesUndertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured dataAnalyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns. Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithmsCombine models through ensemble modellingPresent information using data visualization techniquesPropose solutions and strategies to business challengesCollaborate with engineering and product development teamsGood to Have: Experience in Finance industry / Finance supply chainQualifications & Experience:3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering with a solid focus on Python, SQL Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Good communication skills and a team player.Demonstrable experience in designing and optimizing data pipelines.Experience with data warehousing and ETL tools is a plus.Experience of projects in Finance and Finance supply chain will be an added advantageLocation : This is a Work from office position in Mumbai (ref:hirist.tech)
