Job description
Responsibilities -
Develop and sustain backend connections with these external entities:
- Open banking platforms
- Accounting systems
- Take charge of the design, execution, and validation of framework components, utilizing established software development practices.
- Convert both functional and technical specifications into a comprehensive architecture and design, ensuring a positive experience for the end user.
- Lead efforts in innovation, focusing on enhancing performance, scalability, and system maintainability.
- Contribute to an emerging financial product that is in the initial phase of its development.
Qualifications -- A minimum of 8 years of proficiency in Python and familiarity with the AWS ecosystem.
- At least 5 years of involvement with banking integrations, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting integrations.
- A solid background of at least 2 years working with payment gateways and processors, such as Stripe.
- Comprehensive experience in backend development, including familiarity with messaging queues, caching mechanisms, and understanding of various architectural patterns.
- Proficient in test writing, including unit, integration, and performance testing.
- Demonstrated experience in identifying, diagnosing, and solving performance and optimization issues, with a commitment to developing scalable solutions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for creating scalable systems.
- Practical experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes, specifically with tools like GitHub Actions and AWS CodeDeploy.
- A good understanding of cyber security principles.
- Proficiency in using Postman for API testing and development.
