Job description
As a Senior Sales Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving the operations planning process in the India region. You will be promoting cross-functional collaboration to meet customer demand and achieve business targets.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Develop, implement, and refine the sales and operations planning strategy in alignment with the organizational objectives and market demands.
· Establish Operations frameworks and processes to ensure accurate demand forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
· Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of the Operations strategy and recommend improvements.
· Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather market insights, analyze historical data, and develop demand forecasts.
· Utilize statistical models, predictive analytics, and market intelligence to improve the accuracy of demand forecasts and support resource planning.
· Work closely with operations and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels, production schedules, and distribution plans.
· Identify potential risks and opportunities in the supply chain, develop contingency plans, and implement inventory optimization strategies.
· Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to sales, operations, and supply chain performance.
· Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate key findings, trends, and recommendations to senior management.
· Identify areas for process improvement within the Operations function and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement best practices.
