Job description

1. HR and C&B strategy development
Provide inputs in creation and implementation of overall organization wide HR strategy, aligned with company's
mission and objectives to meet future talent needs
Develop C&B budget, seek approval from Head- HR & President, and provide administrative oversight in
implementation of C&B plan
2. C&B plan design and implementation
Conduct market study and identify best practices/ competition’s compensation & benefits plans
Benchmark compensation and benefit plans of BAF against market to ensure that the most effective plans are put in
place to maximize employee attraction and retention within an objective and systematic framework
Design and implement compensation and benefits structure and programs, including non-monetary rewards and
recognition, across all levels in BAF to ensure alignment with the market and BAF’s pay philosophy
Ensure C&B plans are competitive enough to appropriately attract, motivate and retain employees in order to
achieve target objectives
Monitor and review the effectiveness of compensation and benefits programs and recommend modifications to
reduce costs
3. Performance Management System (PMS)
Design and execute the PMS based on leading practices with the aim to provide a fair and transparent performance
management
Develop and update the quarterly and annual appraisal process across the organization
Contribute to the development and integration of competency models within the PMS
Responsible for the automation of the PMS process in conjunction with IT and/or external vendors
Provide support to line managers in applying the PMS
Develop tools and support collaterals to assist employees and managers with PMS
Collate, analyze and disseminate appraisal results
Resolve problems related to PMS such as employee requests for re-evaluation and ensure that these are handled in
a fair, transparent, professional and equitable way.
4. Stakeholder management
Participate, and where applicable lead, the negotiation of agreements with external C&B experts and service
providers such as insurance and medical cover companies, and government agencies such as pension authorities and
provident funds, for administration of benefits programs in order have efficient corporate tie ups for company
employees
Advise business heads on compensation and policy matters, interpret policy for them and answer queries on such
matters to ensure a high level of understanding of the company’s policies and implementation of programs
5. Compliance
Keep abreast on all relevant rules and regulations, ensure C&B policies (for both internal operations and vendor
processes) are compliant
Communicate escalated/ critical concerns and needs to the supervisor and ensure corrective actions are taken at the
right time
6. Team development
Participate in recruitment process to identify the right talent for various positions within the department
Establish individual performance expectations and regularly review individual performance of the team
Identify and create development opportunities for team members to enhance functional knowledge
