Description:
Scope of the role: Develop a Data Warehouse architecture, Data Models i.e., HLD and LLD to define how the data is collected, integrated, enhanced, stored, and delivered to people to enable effective decision-making.
Scope includes:
. Design, develop, and maintain an enterprise-level platform using Azure data bricks, SQL Data warehouse and Azure Synapse Analytics
. Work with business experts to identify new sources of data and integrate into the existing/new business intelligence models
. Creating Data Warehouse BI applications including reporting, dashboards and other information analysis and delivery system
. Build and maintain ETL processes for large format data loads daily from multiple sources to ensure data accuracy and consistency
. Create and maintain complex APIs for data integration and troubleshoot and optimize database performance
. ETL and SQL development by using Azure Synapse Analytics
. Develop and maintain the corporate dashboards. Develop a change management SOP & validation process for the corporate business intelligence environment and data repositories.
. Providing one-on-one support for developers and end users to assist them in accomplishing their data reporting needs
. Developing or acquiring test data and initiate tests to determine the accuracy of reporting logic to produce desired results

Define standard data catalogs, Lineage, reporting guidelines, integration patterns, tools, and architecture designs to support architectural governance and ensure solution decisions are aligned with the enterprise's future-state architecture vision

. Enable and support shared platforms for agile delivery, maximizing the potential of data assets
Document and maintain reference Data Architecture, Data models and Data flows.

Partner with other integration architects, infrastructure team, and BI developers to define metadata layers, technical strategy, and optimal integration within the existing IT landscape 10% . Data availability as per defined SLA
Key experience required
. Experience in developing and maintaining an integrated, domain-oriented, conceptual enterprise data model representing essential data produced and consumed across the enterprise.
. Analyze and translate Business needs into Conceptual data Models and data flows
. Analyze and design the business rules for data cleansing that are require for staging the data from OLTP & OLAP systems
. Maintains data integrity by reducing data redundancy, trends in data use and single sources of data
. Understands the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations
. In-depth understanding and demonstrated proficiency in data warehousing concepts, best practices, and dimensional database design.
. Experience in working with business leaders and IT teams to define and implement a roadmap on data management, business intelligence, or analytics solutions.
. Experience in managing data sets and working with ETL Data warehouse and Data Lake solutions.
Technical and Functional Competencies
. Experience managing BI and data warehouse projects in an iterative project management methodology
. Hands on experience with Microsoft data and analytics platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks & SQL Data Warehouse
. Experience building and optimizing 'big data' data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
. Expertise with T-SQL - queries, stored procedures, functions, views, constraints
. Experience on building Integrations between Power BI and SQL Data Warehouse or Data Lake
. Hands-on professional creation of advanced data visualization and dashboards by using POWER BI
. Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing POWER BI Dashboards and Reports.
. Hands-on experience with data architecting, data mining, and data modeling.
. Strong experience with data warehouse/data lake development techniques.
. Strong experience with SQL Data Warehouse and ETL solutions such as Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Server, Azure, Databricks.
. Knowledge of Azure platform services (PaaS) and data stores, including Synapse, Azure SQL DB, Azure App Service, Databricks, Data factory, Azure Functions, etc.
. Knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network, and security
. Ability to develop and write Functional and technical specifications
. Rapidly comprehends the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
. Demonstrated understanding of AI/ML fundamentals
. Ready to think, behave and act in an innovative consulting manner to drive the organization's digital business strategies.
. Nice to have - Knowledge of Data Science & programming such as Python, R, SAS, Java, or similar.
. Knowledge of Power apps
