Job description

DESCRIPTION

Build and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., business units, senior management, auditors).
Communicate complex financial information in a clear and concise manner, tailoring presentations to different audiences.
Respond to inquiries promptly and accurately, proactively seeking additional information when needed.
Identify and address stakeholder concerns regarding financial processes and data.
Manage the accrual process, ensuring timely and accurate recognition of revenue and expenses.
Prepare and process journal entries in Oracle or other accounting systems, adhering to internal controls and accounting standards.
Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies, resolving issues promptly.

Key job responsibilities
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare reports to support decision-making.
Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Participate in the development and implementation of new financial processes and procedures.
Maintain accurate and complete financial records.
Perform other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience using data to influence business decisions
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in a finance analyst role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Experience with accounting software like Oracle is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
