JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Manager of Donors Engagement Purpose of the role : To provide leadership to the Donor Relations segment to evolve our crowd funding platform into a world class experience for our fundraisers and a tool for providing intelligent insights for our internal team. Roles & Responsibilities ● Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with existing donors, ensuring their ongoing engagement, appreciation, and satisfaction with the organization. ● Keep donors informed and involved through regular updates, fostering a sense of connection and commitment to the mission. ● Develop, execute, and lead an effective donor relations program targeting various giving levels as defined by the team. ● Ensure donors receive timely acknowledgments and recognition, strategically designed to enhance their financial support for the organization. ● Ensure successful implementation of gift programs and initiatives to demonstrate appreciation and maintain donor engagement. ● Establish and maintain excellent relations with individual and corporate donors, providing acknowledgment and recognition for their contributions. ● Provide leadership and direction to the team, actively driving efforts to consistently meet departmental targets. ● Drive cost efficiencies within the department to contribute to the overall profitability of the organization. ● Prepare & present department budgets. ● Drive efforts for continuous process improvement ● Ensure timely & accurate reporting by all team members ● Ensure compliance with organization policies by all team members. Indicative KRA’s ● Developing new donor engagement best practices from time to time. ● Deep understanding of Indian donor mindset - individual, HNWI, or corporate. ● Act as a consultant to players in both corporate and social sectors & ability to pitch products that fit their growth plan. ● Client servicing skills and excellence in using PowerPoint. ● Team performance on targets ● Team management on other attributes: complaints, attrition, etc. ● Cost efficiencies achieved ● Pace of development assistance for penetrating new markets, driving new business models, building new revenue streams ● Timely & accurate reporting Professional Experiences ● Basic event planning experience for the social sector. ● Strong network of existing nonprofit donors (a huge plus) ● Prior experience in a start-up environment is definite plus ● Directly reporting to CEO, Co-Founders for at least 3-4 years (mandatory) Qualifications ● MBA or Bachelors degree from a reputed college or equivalent practical experience.
