Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Devops
You will help Genpact build automation solutions which are scalable and consistent across global deployment.
Responsibilities
. Develop, Implement, and manage the CI/CD pipelines for software releases using TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub or GitBucket, CircleCI & Harness.
. Monitoring and logging production systems to ensure availability, reliability, and performance.
. Collaborating with development teams to identify and resolve software deployment and infrastructure issues.
. Conducting root cause analysis for production issues and implementing corrective actions.
. Implementing security best practices across the infrastructure and software development lifecycle
. Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience.
. Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
. Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
. Defining and setting up development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications we seek in you!
BE/ B Tech/ MCA/M Tech
Preferred qualifications
. Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with TeamCity, GitBucket or GitHub workflows
. Working knowledge of databases and SQL
. Configuration Management experience such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar would be an advantage.
. Good understanding of software development best practices and methodologies
. Problem-solving attitude
. Team spirit
. Strong understanding of microservice architecture
