At Shipday, we are arming the rebels in local delivery space. Shipday’s mission is to democratize access to cost-efficient local delivery options for small merchants globally. Shipday is transforming the way local merchants do business in a world increasingly driven by e-commerce. Since starting in 2020, Shipday has already powered millions of deliveries in 100+ countries.

The Role: The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is primarily responsible for calling prospects, understanding their business problems and getting them excited about Shipday.

Your goal is to book demos for and help generate sales pipeline. A typical day might look like this. Make 70+ outbound phone calls, 50+ emails - ideally set 1-2 demos per day Prepare and test new cold-call scripts and email sequences to reach prospects Talk to inbound prospects and and help them onboard. Schedule detailed demo as needed but should be able to do basic demo as well Doing basic product demo to clients if needed.

Job Responsibilities: Own the lead management and sales development process Your goal is to book 1-3 demos per day to help generate sales pipeline Research companies to identify decision makers and technical users Work with customer success team to onboard new customers

Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in prospecting, cold call and email reach outs, or any other customer facing and business development roles in SMB market Experience in SMB tech software sales preferred including hospitality tech (e.g. POS), e-commerce solutions, delivery logistics, or payment solutions Act with a sense of urgency and get sh*t done! Strong customer focus and attention to details Enough tech-savvy to be able to work with productivity tools (excel, google sheets, etc.) and CRM solutions Bachelor's degree.
