Job description

- Performing mechanical design calculations using both software and manual methods.
- Identifying raw materials necessary for each project.
- Developing technical procurement specifications for materials.
- Creating mechanical data-sheets.
- Ensuring that fabrication drawings comply with design codes and client specifications.
- Overseeing and approving production cutting plans.
- Participating in project review meetings.
- Verifying design calculations and FEA Analysis.
- Evaluating subcontractor proposals, raising technical queries, and preparing technical bid evaluations.
- Attending project kickoff meetings and ensuring effective team coordination.
- Providing engineering solutions to complex mechanical issues during fabrication.
- Collaborating with various disciplines to resolve technical queries.
- Guiding and mentoring junior engineers and designers.
- Assisting in estimating and proposing bids for new projects.
- Software Knowledge: PV ELite, CADEM PVD, AutoCAD, BricsCAD, MS Excel Advanced, MS Office Etc.
