Job Description:

As the AVP of Supply Chain, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations. The role involves strategic planning, process implementation, and day-to-day management of warehousing and inventory activities. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of supply chain processes, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

• Oversee and optimize warehouse operations to ensure efficient storage and distribution of products.
• Implement best practices for space utilization, organization, and security within the warehouses.
• Supervise daily warehouse activities and Coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize and fulfill order requirements.
• Resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions.

Strategic Planning:

• Contribute to the development of the overall supply chain strategy.
• Provide input on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for supply chain activities.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.

Inventory Management:

• Develop and implement inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
• Monitor stock levels, anticipate supply needs, and coordinate replenishment strategies.
• Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records.

Process Implementation:

• Design and implement efficient and standardized supply chain processes.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate technology solutions for process improvement.
• Ensure the successful execution of supply chain strategies to meet organizational goals.

Process Adherence:

• Enforce adherence to established supply chain processes and standards.
• Conduct regular training sessions to educate team members on updated processes.
• Monitor and evaluate performance metrics, making adjustments as necessary.

Cost Optimization:

• Identify opportunities for cost savings within the supply chain.
• Analyze logistics and transportation costs and implement strategies to reduce expenses.
• Continuously evaluate and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms.

Continuous Improvement:

• Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain function.
• Regularly assess and update processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to bring innovative solutions to the supply chain.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 4 - 7 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, while also having proven leadership experience as well.
• Proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and process optimization.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain technology.
