Job description
Your role as a QA Automation Engineer is to write scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests. Using different automation tools, you will design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions. Your goal is to automate as much of the testing effort as possible with a minimum set of code.
Responsibilities
Develop and design automated test strategies for functional, non-functional and performance testing that helps increase testing coverage and reduce overall testing cycle times.
Understanding and Analyzing the Application Under Test in terms of Object Identification.
Creating Test scenarios and Collecting Test Data.
Identifying end to end scenarios and code modularity.
Constructing and scaling setups to test disaster recovery scenarios
Proven experience in X-Replay Simplifies 5250 UI Testing Through Automation is must
Creating Test Automation Resources (Function Libraries etc…).
Maintenance of Automation Resources.
Creating performance tests using LoadRunner or other tools.
Creating an automation framework for API tests.
Debugging and Running Tests.
Analyzing Test Results.
Test Reporting
Qualifications
1+ years experience in test automation using X-Replay.
Good Knowledge on DST Environment and DST Modules.
Basic Understanding of Functional and Regression Test Automation.
Strong Programming skills in PHP or python Programming along with Database Operations and OOPS concepts.
Knowledge of TestNG or other Supported Testing Framework for Grouping Test Cases, Prioritizing Test Cases, Executing Test Batches and Generating Test Results.
Knowledge of Maven, GIT
Experience in creating performance tests using Loadrunner.
Experience with Disaster recovery scenarios and testing
Idea on Test Automation Framework implementation
Strong presentation and oral communication skills
