Job Role Purpose: (Brief summary for the existence of the job role)
 Responsible for achieving top line and revenue targets on insurance (Life & Non-Life) business for assigned branches.
 Support for Sales & Business Development to ensure FY Budget achievements with Q-on-Q numbers meet.
 Supporting Relationship managers with client calls, handling queries and supporting closures.
 Liaison with the partner Insurance companies to provide training programs for Branch Banking channel on a regular basis on Insurance sales skills and products.
 Working knowledge of Mutual Funds & other debt and equity Investments Products to educate cluster staff on objection handling.
 Regulatory knowledge on insurance and investment products
Key Job Responsibilities
(Not restricted to): o Primary objective of the Cluster Insurance Specialist –is to promote and sell Life and General Insurance products to bank customers.
o Giving sound financial advisory services and customer support to clients.
o Handling Unity Branches & supporting branch staffs to close the leads.
o Keeping In and out knowledge of the products.
o Create proper comparison of similar products in other companies.
o Create and manage an effective Sales Tracker to measure and manage their activity levels.
o Generate new business to achieve defined sales and revenue targets.
o Continuously improve the quality of sale and key sales ratios by attending the trainings arranged for them, if required.
o Providing timely MIS as required relating to the various aspects of the business-applied, business lead generation, Issued business, product mix, lapsation etc.
o Conduct a credit report on customers to find out what sort of insurance rates they can be given, explain to customers what sort of coverage they are getting, and what kind of monetary values the insurance company will payout in the event of damage to the insured.
o Ensuring complete customer satisfaction starting from the first payment of premium till the claim management.
o Liaising with Insurance Company's representatives on a regular basis.
o Ensure timely and accurate compliance to all statutory requirements. To check if all the required documents and forms are in place, wherever applicable.
