Job description
Objective: We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologist with a strong background in radiology and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care at Aster CMI Hospital, Hebbal. As a Senior Radiologist, you will play a crucial role in providing advanced diagnostic interpretations, mentoring junior radiologists, and contributing to the overall excellence of our imaging services.

Experience: min 5 yrs
Qualification: MD/DNB, Additional Specializations/Certifications – FRCR/ESR/Specialor SubSpecial Fellowships if any
Responsibilities:
Advanced Image Interpretation:
- Provide expert-level interpretations of complex medical images, including CT scans, MRIs, X-rays, and ultrasounds.
- Offer specialized insights into various subspecialty areas.
Quality Assurance and reports:
- Oversee and contribute to quality assurance programs to maintain the highest standards of diagnostic accuracy.
- The reports to be submitted within the agreed TAT
- Conduct peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance the overall performance of the team.
Mentorship and Leadership:
- Mentor and guide junior radiologists, fostering their professional development.
- Lead by example in promoting a culture of continuous learning and collaboration within the radiology team.
Collaboration and Consultation:
- Collaborate with referring physicians, clinicians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Provide expert consultation on challenging cases and assist in developing tailored imaging protocols.
Continuous Education:
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in radiology and medical imaging.
- Lead educational initiatives within the team to ensure ongoing professional development.
Technology Utilization:
- Utilize tele-radiology platforms and advanced imaging software effectively.
- Contribute to the implementation and optimization of cutting-edge technology for improved diagnostic capabilities.
Requirements:
- Qualification - Medical degree from an accredited institution and board certification in radiology. MD/DNB. Additional Specializations/Certifications – FRCR/ESR/Specialor SubSpecial Fellowships
- Min 5 plus years of experience in radiology with a focus on advanced subspecialty areas.
- Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities.
- Strong analytical skills for complex cases and a commitment to diagnostic excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Should have the acumen and potential to build in proficiency for using HIS platforms and advanced imaging software.
