Job description

Overview:

The position of Urgent Requirement SAP PLM Consultant is of great significance within the organization as it involves leading the SAP PLM functions ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of these systems and driving continuous improvement in oil and gas accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Requirement Analysis : Understanding the business requirements related to product lifecycle management and translating them into SAP PLM functionalities.
  2. Solution Design : Designing SAP PLM solutions that align with business objectives and requirements including configuration and customization of SAP PLM modules.
  3. Implementation : Leading or participating in the implementation of SAP PLM modules ensuring successful deployment within the organization. This involves configuring SAP PLM modules integrating them with other SAP modules or thirdparty systems and conducting testing to ensure functionality meets requirements.
  4. Data Migration : Planning and executing data migration activities to transfer relevant product data from legacy systems to SAP PLM ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the process.
  5. Training and Documentation : Providing training to endusers on how to use SAP PLM effectively as well as creating documentation such as user manuals and training materials to support ongoing usage.
  6. Support and Maintenance : Providing ongoing support to users troubleshooting issues and addressing system enhancements or optimizations to improve performance and meet evolving business needs.
  7. Business Process Improvement : Collaborating with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization using SAP PLM functionalities.
  8. Integration Management : Managing integration points between SAP PLM and other SAP modules (such as SAP ERP SAP S/4HANA) or external systems to ensure seamless data flow and process integration.
  9. Compliance and Regulation : Ensuring that SAP PLM solutions comply with relevant industry regulations and standards such as FDA regulations for life sciences or ISO standards for quality management.
  10. Change Management : Facilitating change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of SAP PLM solutions within the organization including communication training and stakeholder engagement.
  11. Stay Updated : Keeping abreast of SAP PLM updates new features and industry best practices to continuously enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of SAP PLM solutions within the organization.
