Job description

The Instructional Designer will play a key role in ensuring the Digital Transformation - Change Management team meets its project objectives by creating and executing Training plans that maximize employee readiness and adoption and minimize resistance. This designer will collaborate with internal and external project leads to drive higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees, thus increasing benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of project results and outcomes.

 

Role

• Manage and execute the plan, design, and development of highly effective training programs from start to finish

• Reviews source materials and seek clarifications from the change management leads and project team members

• Creates all the training deliverables per the approved design documents, and based on inputs from source material and SMEs

• Create interactive training content to support end user training for large scale projects using Articulate Storyline (360, Rise)

• Manage the creation/edit of video, voice, graphic assets, and publishing SCORM compatible E-Learning course for posting on the LMS

• Create simulations using the tool identified for the project, job aids, storyboards for instructor-led and web-based courses, and instructor and participant guides

• Creates the above listed deliverables based on inputs received and applies appropriate instructional design standards to content

• Reviews for content accuracy, level of detail, and compliance with standards

• Incorporates SME feedback as documented in the course feedback log

• Support/work within a global organization which includes project-work outside local time zone

• Be flexible to support all training activities, asset creation to ensure project success and end user training

• Ensure adherence to Lenovo branding guidelines

 

Requirements

Required Experience, Skills, and Qualification

• 2 to 4+ year hands-on experience of developing traditional and E-Learning training content

• Familiarity with SCORM, LMSs, and experience in testing for compliance

• Possess good oral and written communication skills

• Ability to communicate in English where required

• Familiarity with instructional design standards, processes, and methodology

• Strong knowledge of content development and management software and tools such as Articulate, Adobe, Camtasia

• Must possess computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)

• Self-motivated and enthusiastic, able to motivate a team

• Work closely with other teams in a cross-functional production environment

• Confident, firm and decisive personality

• Preferable Skill – experience in Salesforce
