Role Description This is a full-time role for a Head of Fundraising, located in Bengaluru. The Head of Fundraising will be responsible for managing and leading all fundraising activities, developing and executing effective fundraising strategies, identifying and engaging with major UHNIs, Family Offices & Corporates across Asia. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strategic insight, a track record in significant capital raising, and profound knowledge of investments to propel financial growth and organisational success. Key Responsibilities: • Fund Strategy and Execution: Lead the formation and strategic direction of the fund, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and market competitiveness. • Capital Acquisition: Drive capital-raising efforts from institutional investors, ultra high-net-worth individuals, and other sources, aiming to meet and surpass funding goals for both existing and upcoming projects. • Investor Engagement: Foster and maintain relationships with a diverse investor base, providing regular updates on fund performance and sports assets market opportunities. • Market Intelligence: Perform sophisticated market research to uncover investment opportunities, using these insights to inform fund investment strategies and deal selections. • Financial Leadership: Oversee the fund’s financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis, while ensuring regulatory compliance and fiscal responsibility. • Team and Project Leadership: Promote cross-functional collaboration, aligning fund goals with the broader organisational objectives, and cultivating a culture of innovation and excellence. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s/Master’s in Finance, Business, or related field. • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, fund management, or similar roles, with a notable record in capital raising. • Deep understanding of financial modeling, economics, investment analysis, and portfolio management. • Strong skills in strategic planning, analytical thinking, and executive communication. • Proven track record in investor relations and capital raising for the Sports Sector is a bonus.Job tags
