Job Title: Module Lead - DevOps Experience: 7 to 9 years Location: Bangalore
Job Description: Primary Skills: Cloud DevOps Engineer They are looking for a skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to play a crucial role in our software development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance our software delivery pipeline, automate infrastructure provisioning, and optimize system performance. As a DevOps Engineer at John Deere, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with talented professionals, leverage industry/leading technologies, and drive continuous improvement in our development and deployment practices. Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline to automate software delivery and deployment processes Collaborate with software development teams to optimize build and release processes Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security Implement monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address system issues Drive the adoption of best practices for infrastructure as code, configuration management, and automation Work closely with security and compliance teams to ensure the integrity and security of our systems Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, testing, and production environments Stay abreast of emerging DevOps technologies and practices, and make recommendations for process improvements Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Test-driven development experience(TDD) Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role within a complex environment Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Experience with scripting and automation using tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell In-depth knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or similar Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Preferred Qualifications: Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or similar Experience with microservices architecture and serverless computing Understanding of agricultural, construction, or forestry industry practices and technologiesJob tags
