We are looking for an optometrist as a colleague to be associated for long term (bare minimum 3 years or more).

2 openings for the post of Optometrist in Goa. On-site. Full time. 1 post for Panjim branch and 1 for Margao branch.

Type of role: Full time. On site. Working hours shall be 9:30 am to 7:30 pm Monday to Saturday in the Margao branch. Full time. On site. Working hours shall be 10:00 am to 7:30 pm Monday to Saturday in the Panjim branch. Sundays shall be the weekly off at both branches.

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist located in Panaji. The Optometrist will be responsible for conducting eye tests to identify vision problems and prescribing corrective lenses and other treatments as per the patient's needs. The Optometrist will also be responsible for interpreting test results and making referrals to ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals as necessary.

Qualifications Bachelor of Optometry (B. Optom.) degree from an accredited program, with minimum 2 years experience in any set-up. Hospital or retail. Freshers may also apply. Diploma in Optometry is acceptable with minimum 2 years experience. Licensure to practice optometry in the state of Goa. Experience conducting eye exams, diagnosing and treating vision problems, and prescribing corrective lenses and treatments. Strong knowledge of eye anatomy, ocular diseases, and their treatments. Excellent communication skills to explain test results and treatments to patients, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals. Attention to detail and ability to use specialized equipment to evaluate vision and eye health accurately. Strong understanding of patient confidentiality and data privacy regulations.

Job Role/Skills 1.

Detail history taking and eye test/refraction skills with high accuracy, using all the resources and instruments/equipment available at perusal. 2

Slit-lamp biomicroscopy for assessment of anterior chamber anomalies and Contact lens examination. 3. Basic knowledge of Binocular vision, low - vision and ocular anomalies, for appropriate referral to the specialist for further line of treatment, 4.

Good communication skills, people management skills with the other retail colleagues for seamless customer/patient experience. 5. Have the ability to convert prospective patients to clientele. 6.

Very thorough knowledge and clarity of core concepts in Dispensing optics. To suggest appropriate eyewear solutions to the client's for their individual visual demands and needs. 7. Superior analytical, evaluation and problem solving abilities. 8. Periodic maintenance of instruments. 9. Leadership skills with ability to lead and manage people for larger roles for future growth.

Orientation for working operations and company culture shall be done. Training shall be provided.

Salary: Rs. 20,000/- to 25,000/- Incentives shall be started post 6 months of probation. Depending on performance and other parameters like attitude, punctuality, etc.
