We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing and Procurement Head to join our dynamic team. As the Purchasing and Procurement Head, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our supply chain processes, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining high-quality standards in the acquisition of materials.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
2. Source and negotiate with suppliers globally to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
4. Evaluate and select suppliers based on performance, reliability, and quality of products/services.
5. Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential opportunities or risks.
6. Streamline procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce lead times.
7. Conduct regular vendor performance reviews to ensure compliance with agreed-upon terms.
8. Manage relationships with key suppliers and negotiate long-term agreements for strategic partnerships.
9. Stay updated on regulatory requirements related to procurement and ensure compliance.
10. Implement sustainable and ethical procurement practices in alignment with the company's values.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Purchasing and Procurement Head in a similar industry, paper background preferred.
2. Strong negotiation and communication skills.
3. In-depth knowledge of global supply chain dynamics.
4. Ability to analyze market trends and make informed procurement decisions.
5. Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
6. Familiarity with relevant software and tools for procurement management like SAP, excel etc.
