Your Role and Responsibilities
The WW watsonx Marketing team seeks an energetic, innovative and experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager. You will have a global role with the responsibility to create and oversee the day-to-day marketing strategy and requirements related to watsonx. The successful candidate will engage with clients, business partners, IBM marketing and the watsonx product leadership to design, develop and deliver high-impact marketing approaches. As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for also articulating the point of view and value proposition for IBM’s watsonx products and audiences we serve, to grow IBM’s market share. We are seeking a product marketing champion to join our watsonx team, which works to capture the market and support pipeline generation and new client acquisition for watsonx by leading cross-IBM campaigns and product-level marketing and communications efforts. In the role, you will drive the outcome of connecting differentiated POVs with the right buyers and experts, measured by new signings, retention rates, average customer value, absolute and trend NPS, market segment share, win loss rate, analyst ranking, and social influence.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- 10+ Years Product Marketing Experience
- Ability to build create and plan holistic client-centric messaging, targeting buyer pain points with differentiated value propositions.
- Identify and develop product positioning and go-to-market that uniquely differentiates watsonx solutions and drives sustainable growth of the product and client engagements
- Ability to critically create and shape client journeys and customer experiences, throughout the marketing funnel
- Extensive experience in content creation across various mediums, including messaging platforms, persuasive copy for email, digital ads, digital seller scripts, and marketing assets
- Able to see the “big picture” of how a go-to-market, messaging and content connects across IBM, on- and off-line platforms; identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proven track record of thinking audience and digital first; significant experience in creating effective end-to-end journeys inclusive of content assets, web, social, SEO and paid media.
- Ability to understand and profile target buyers– their needs, wants, beliefs, as well as how and when they learn about software and how it can solve their business problems.
- Good communication skills and verbal skills (one-on-one as well as presentation skills) as well as writing skills with the ability to tailor marketing content to different audiences
- Ability to converse with product managers and architects and translate technology into marketing message and story, as well as ability to deliver technical content like product demos
- Ability to work across many internal senior stakeholders and businesses
- Interface regularly with clients and partners on marketing activities
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Strong understanding of one or more of the following software products: generative AI or data and analytics
- Understand Go to Market strategies and experience in creating marketing business plans
- Audience Strategy
- Client Experience Design & Measurement

IBM Vaccination Policy
