Job description

Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting and finance department.

Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with established accounting principles and company procedures.

Handle tax compliance, including preparation and filing of tax returns and ensuring adherence to tax laws and regulations.

Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets for management review.

Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Supervise and mentor junior staff members within the accounting and finance team.

Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.

Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records and documentation.

Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulations relevant to the industry.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CA certification preferred.

6-7 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance roles, with a focus on taxation, internal audit, and financial reporting.

Strong understanding of Indian tax laws and regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Male candidates from Rajasthan preferred.

Willingness to relocate to Gujarat.
