Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
1.Monitor and ensure the production within the cost estimate
· Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations.
· Allocate the manpower, Schedules and inventory needed for production.
2.Ensure process quality
· Follow schedules and standards.
· Provide direction and leadership to the departmental team to achieve high quality and productivity.
· Develop systems and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards, metrics and performance targets to ensure effective return on assets.
3.Coordinate on training and development
· Maintain efficient work force.
· Facilitate employee hiring, training, development and performance evaluations.
· Ensures training and education on specific tasks, safety issues and company related functions
· Address employees’ issues or grievances
4.Inventory and budget control
· Determine the materials budget involved
· Maintain adequate supply of departmental shop supplies and materials
· Develop cost cutting mechanisms by replacement/substitution of existing process and materials in compositions
· Submits department budgets and assists in the capital equipment implementation process
· Assure proper maintenance of equipment, tools and housekeeping.
