Job Overview

We are hiring an Accountant to join our team at Variate Solar. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial records and transactions of the company. This includes tasks such as bookkeeping, preparing financial statements, and conducting financial analysis. The ideal candidate should have 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting, with knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST), Tally, cash flow management, planning budgeting and forecasting, auditing, and financial analysis. This is a full-time position located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of Goods and Services Tax (GST) regulations
• Proficiency in Tally software
• Experience in cash flow management
• Ability to plan, budget, and forecast financials
• Knowledge of auditing principles and practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day financial transactions of the company.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Prepare financial statements and reports.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends and provide insights.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Perform bank reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Assist with audits and tax filings.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure financial accuracy and efficiency.
