We issue Barter Tokens to our members, which can be used to shop from the marketplace and network with other members.
Job Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at BXI - Barter Exchange of India. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving the growth of our B2B community and expanding our member base. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The position is located in Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, India, and is a full-time role.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in business development or B2B sales
- Proven track record of successful new client acquisition and revenue generation
- Strong understanding of business-to-business (B2B) sales strategies and tactics
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers
- Experience in lead generation and corporate sales
- Familiarity with C-suite selling and ability to engage with high-level executives
- Self-motivated and target-driven mindset
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Roles and Responsibilities
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to acquire new members for our B2B community
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing members, ensuring their satisfaction and retention
- Research and analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential growth areas
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective marketing strategies
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote BXI
- Develop and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, showcasing the benefits of joining our community
- Negotiate and close deals, ensuring maximum value for both BXI and our members
- Track and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to the management team
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements to identify new business opportunities
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of BXI by sharing innovative ideas and best practices
