Job purpose
The Nature of this Profile is the candidate will be responsible for providing Consulting & Solutions on Network solutions, wired & wireless technology domains & Work cross functionally with partners, project management, and to build network designs to solve for connectivity requirements
Duties and responsibilities
The primary job duties and responsibilities are listed below that encourages the candidates to 'work outside the box' and within reason, discourages 'that's not my job'.
• Work as an independent contributor responsible for propogating Technology & demonstrate technology benefits to customer.
• The Candidate also has a responsibility to Drive Technology pitch, Drive technology discussions with the customer from Customer's business point of view.
• Familiarity with a wide range of networking technologies which includes Active Switches, routers, Wireless Technologies, SDN (Software-Defined Networking)
• Candidate needs to have good know how of SD-WAN and Secure Edge portfolio
• Candidate should have Knowledge of Specific Software tools like Aruba Clear Pass, Aruba Airwave, Aruba Location Services or Cisco DNA Software, Cisco IoT Dashboard or Cisco App Dynamics, any of these will be added advantage.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• The Candidate must have the ability to Understand the customer's Business & their customers & market characteristics and develop the most appropriate solutions needed for the business.
• Candidate Must have the ability to drive Solution Sales and must work with customer to derive RFP/RFQ Preparation along with BOQ/BOM generation for the same.
• Should work closely with Sales team & enable them to win opportunities.
• Candidate must generate Bill of materials for wired / wireless technology / SD-WAN / Security solutions requested by the customer and must have Proficiency in creating technical documentation, diagrams, and proposals
• Candidate must work closely with the sales team to convert opportunities into revenue generating engagements. The opportunity could either be net new business or an up-selling / cross- selling opportunity to an existing client
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
• Education – BE, Btech, Diploma any technical based education
• Specialized knowledge – Good Understanding and Exposure in IT companies, Government Relationship Management with leading IT OEM companies is required
• Skills – Must have Solution Designing skills & Should have excellent understanding on product specification and compliance
• Abilities – Candidate must have the ability to conduct POC's (Proof of Concepts) of the relevant technology domain that is being positioned at the customer's place. Candidate Must have excellent communication skills.
• Other characteristics such as personal characteristics – Must have a pleasing personality & must be a go getter.
• Professional Certification – Network Industry Certification preferred, Like Cisco's CCNA, CCNP or Aruba's ACMA, ACMP or ACSA.
Working Requirements
The Candidate must be passionate for Wired & Wireless Technology with an acumen in designing networking Solutions, consulting and their deployment services for Campus, Edge & WiFi networks and related services for a wide range of organizations.
Should be capable of independently driving engagement with senior decision making authorities. The candidate must also be well conversant with the wired / wireless technology domain jargons.
Other Requirements
The Candidate must have strong knowledge of using OEM's Configurator tools to arrive at requisite Bill of materials needed for the respective customer. Candidate must also be well versed in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio for designing solution diagrams & proposals to clients.
The Candidate specializing in wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) solutions should be able to perform
Wireless (Wi-Fi) network design, including creation of high-level design, low-level design and acceptance testing documentation for a variety of applications.
