Job description

Job Purpose :

The job exists to perform an array of activities that will act as the Decision support activities of the Business. Perform commercial evaluation of new products and then also do a post launch analysis of the same. To provide regular feedback to the Management on performance through benchmarking, analysis and validation of various reports and products. Thereby enabling to contribute to the achievement of overall business goals and parameters.

Accountabilities :

Reporting of key performance indicators across all the Functions on a regular basis, highlighting key concerns to them well in advance. It involves reporting of business drivers to the management on a monthly basis. Evaluation of commercial proposals from all OPCOs and preparing a standard validation note for proposal with recommendations. Doing post launch analysis of products & identifying reasons for variances and highlighting it to management. Benchmarking KPIs across all the Opcos. OpCo training and support To engage with cross function teams for data requirements. To engage with OPCO teams for driving closure of activities. Do meaningful analytics on Voice, Data and Enterprise products. Identifying the opportunities for automation and process re-engineering. To increase the revenue for Airtel and monitor it by taking in inputs from the Marketing team, Sales team, Network team, etc.

Key Decisions :

Every time a new product comes, decision has to be made on financial benefits accruing out of the same & whether it would be financially viable in the long run or not. Revenue enhancement initiatives, ensuring accurate forecasting. Data reading and preparing relevant format for customer behaviour data for 14 OPCO.

Educational Qualifications :

MBA/Certified Accountant/ Experienced person in Finance business partnering & reporting.

Relevant Experience :

10 to 15 years of experience Business performance analysis Preferred background being telecom sector

Business understanding Strong Analytics (powerful experience on Excel usage is must) Decisiveness Process oriented Ability to communicate; oral and written at all levels Good interpersonal skills Team management and leadership skills Result oriented Positive drive and energy Out of box thinking Ability to align strategies and systems to business needs
