IT Portfolio Financial Manager Responsibilities - Lead the financial management of the IT portfolio, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain financial plans for IT projects and initiatives.
- Monitor actual financial performance against plans, identify variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and optimize resource allocation across the IT portfolio.
- Develop and implement financial control measures to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Prepare financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
- Provide financial insights and guidance to IT leadership for strategic planning and resource optimization.
- Collaborate with procurement and vendor management teams to manage financial aspects of vendor contracts and agreements.
- Participate in financial audits and internal control assessments.
- Stay updated with industry best practices and trends in IT portfolio financial management.
Education Minimum Requirement - Bachelor's degree in IT, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent.
Required Experience And Skills - Minimum 5 years of applied work experience with emphasis on financial management, preferably in an IT portfolio management role.
- Experience managing financial aspects of IT portfolios in a diverse and complex global environment.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly changing matrix environment.
- Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work and communicate effectively at all levels and inspire trust.
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment and a clear understanding of financial compliance requirements.
- Proficient in financial management tools and systems.
Preferred Experience And Skills - Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience managing financial aspects of IT portfolios.
- Experience in financial control and governance, including managing financial risks and ensuring compliance.
- Familiarity with IT portfolio management methodologies and frameworks.
- Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and analysis.
