Job description

Postion: Sous Chef

Role Description :

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sous Chef (Western / European / Oriental) at ITPL India Group's client's hospitality vertical located in Sydney, NSW. The Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in planning and overseeing the preparation of meals, managing kitchen staff, maintaining kitchen inventory, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. They will also be responsible for maintaining the quality of food, ensuring that it is up to standard, and providing excellent customer service to guests.

Qualifications :

Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role for at least 3 years
Culinary degree or diploma from a recognized institution
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
Excellent understanding of food safety regulations
Ability to manage kitchen staff, delegate tasks and oversee operations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure
Great communication and problem-solving skills
High level of creativity and attention to detail
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
