The Senior Software Engineer, SAP Order to Cash is responsible for driving solutions to enable effective and efficient outcomes for the BMS business. Through strong collaboration and a focus on business success, this person drives design and implementation activities for the Order to Cash functionality in SAP including integration with other areas such as Supply Chain, etc. This person has a good understanding of working in an FDA and GxP environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Part of a highly effective team that delivers robust SAP solutions to support BMS Order to Cash requirements globally.
  • You can effectively translate business requirements to a solution using the SAP S4/HANA system, bolt-ons to SAP S4 or related tools.
  • Ensure new solutions meet BMS business requirements and IT standards. Able to design and configure SD module independently using best practices and standards working closely with cross functional teams.
  • Develop and maintain productive and positive relationships with key Vendor/Partners
  • Provide input to project teams and third party/partner development organizations for the Order to Cash area when required.
  • Manage stakeholder communications for projects. Produce clear and effective written presentations, memos, etc.
  • Create and review Computer Systems Validation documentation, including specifications, testing approaches and creation of end user documentation to support delivered IT solutions.
  • Assist in the unit test of new solutions & provide support and expertise through Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Test (UAT).

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education required.
  • At least 5 to 7 years SAP OTC experience
  • Excellent oral communication and written presentation skills is required.
  • Strong configuration knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0/SAP S4 HANA - OM (Order Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution).
  • Experience in a full life cycle implementation of ECC/S4 is preferred.
  • Experience implementing SAP solutions for pharmaceutical industry, in FDA and GxP regulated environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage work across virtual teams and be sensitive to cultural differences.
  • Experience with interfacing SAP to Third Party systems is preferred.
  • Able to deal with ambiguity in problem definition and organizational relationships. Experience working in a matrix organization.
  • Demonstrates openness to learning new skills and helping others to raise their 'technology quotient'.
