Job description
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Review functional, design specifications and test script document to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables. Develop / contribute to the automation test strategy document. Establish automated test environment. Develop test automation framework. Develop test automation script design pattern. Test script execution and coordinating test script execution using test management tool and automation tool. Defect logging and tracking using bug management tool. Provide user support and coordinate resolution of issues to include change management, root cause analysis, and appropriate escalation as needed. Actively participate in meetings and events to acquire product knowledge of future projects. Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies. Contribute to the teams growth by knowledge sharing and mentoring.
What You Need To Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field. 2+ years of work experience in software quality assurance. Hands on experience with technologies like, JAVA / C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Gherkin, XML, AWS. Hands on experience working with automation tools Protractor, Selenium Web-driver, Cucumber, Rest Assured. Hands on experience with Backend test automation of Rest services using Postman, Rest Assured, JSON. Hands on experience with Frontend test automation using Selenium, Cucumber. Hands on experience with PL SQL queries. Hands on experience with CI/CD / CT to create builds using Jenkins / GITLab. Experience working in Agile / Scrum development process. Hands on experience with Behavior driven development (BDD) or Test driven development (TDD). Hands on experience designing, developing, debugging and maintaining automation framework from scratch. Hands on experience with data reconciliation, data analysis, data modeling, data migration. Hands on experience working with version control tools like Git, BitBucket. What Will Give You A Competitive Edge : Experience integrating test automation with AWS cloud. Experience with end-end testing of Spring Boot batch, JMS. Experience with performance and security testing. Airline industry experience. Knowledge of mainframe applications. Hands on experience testing on various platforms (Web, Mobile, Desktop).Job tags
