Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled Merchandiser to join our team at A L Paper House. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the production and distribution of our handmade paper and paper products. This role requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 4 to 6 years of experience in merchandising and a passion for the handmade paper and paper products industry. This is a full-time position based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience as a Merchandiser
- Strong knowledge of merchandising principles and practices
- Experience in the handmade paper and paper products industry is a plus
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Creative mindset with a passion for design
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Experience in vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the production and distribution of handmade paper and paper products
- Collaborate with the design team to develop new product concepts
- Manage the product development process from concept to final production
- Negotiate and coordinate with vendors for sourcing materials and production
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for product improvement
- Ensure timely delivery of products to customers
- Maintain documentation and records related to product development and production
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective product strategies
- Provide support and guidance to junior merchandisers
