Job opening for IT L2 Support with a Leading Global Logistic Comapny
Job Responsibilities:
- • Gain an understanding of and expertise in business applications (related to supply chain, transportation, and EDI).
- Work closely with First Level support and Operations to ensure multi-tiered support efficiency over implemented solutions. Monitor systems interfaces (EDI/API) to ensure data exchange quality and timeliness. Document functional EDI/API maps specifications to the systems interfaces development team. Collaborate with business functions (Key Users, Project Managers), as well as other IT teams (L3 Support, Delivery Centers). Manage incidents, requests, and problems to meet or exceed defined support service levels.
- Together with solution experts, drive and/or support solution tests, deployments, and life-cycle management related to software releases. Train our Bangalore Control Tower's extended team and operations to increase their understanding of solutions. Participate in change management for current solutions.
- Develop solutions that support ITOM practices and help the APAC IT Operations Manager identify opportunities for automation. Participate in the global implementation and use of technical and functional enhanced IT monitoring, enabling proactive interception of IT applications unavailability (DevOps).
Skills:
• A degree in engineering or IT, plus at least five years of experience
• Proficiency in IT operations procedures, including ITIL and ITSM (support for incidents, problems, changes, NRT, and UAT).
• Preference for understanding supply chain/manufacturing or logistics IT solutions; • Preference for understanding DevOps methodologies and tools (such as Azure DevOps, Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, Dynatrace)
