Role Overview:
The Inbound growth team plays a pivotal role in driving predictable inbound led revenue at Freshworks. The growth of Freshworks as a company rests on the ability of this team to create interest in our products among potential customers. Given the competitive environment that exists in the SaaS domain, digital demand generation provides us the ability to influence the top of the funnel in the acquisition journey.
As the Manager of Digital Marketing, you will be at the forefront of our growth strategy, spearheading demand generation initiatives to fuel our ambitious revenue targets. Your role will encompass owning revenue for your product/geo, orchestrating paid investments across various channels, collaborating closely with other marketing teams, collaborating with sales , and partnering with product marketers to drive product-led growth. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping our annual plans, leveraging data-driven insights to refine our strategies, and staying ahead of the competition through robust market research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and strategize for inbound campaigns to drive traction, setting targets, and devising strategies to achieve them.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis from web traffic to revenue generation, deriving actionable insights.
- Monitor KPIs and establish mechanisms for measuring campaign effectiveness across diverse online channels.
- Extract meaningful conclusions from campaign data, identifying opportunities for optimization and identifying levers for growth.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams on complex projects with a strong focus on user centricity
- Efficiently manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, fostering effective teamwork and communication.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
- 8-12 years of hands-on experience in online demand generation within the B2B sector.
- Profound expertise in digital paid media strategies (Organic, Paid Search, Social, Display & Video).
- Demonstrated ability to execute marketing campaigns at scale across various platforms and geographies.
- Handled budgets north of $5M/year and driven directly attributable revenue
- Deep understanding of crafting and executing comprehensive campaign strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Comfortable with driving analytics & measurement for complex inbound campaigns
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take accountability for outcomes rather than manage inputs
- Sound judgment and decision-making abilities, weighing the cost-benefit of actions.
- Tenacity to tackle complex challenges and drive solutions.
- Active listener with excellent communication skills, able to convey complex information effectively.
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude towards identifying new initiatives and embracing calculated risks.
- Prior experience in B2B or SaaS marketing is essential, tech marketing experience is a plus.
