Role & responsibilities: Planning and developing merchandising strategies. Analyzing sales figures, customer reactions, and market trends to anticipate product needs Strong ability to Analyzing product history and trends, strategizing, and react, based on the findings from company-generated reports to drive sales. Collaborating with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and time-scales Collaborating with suppliers, manufacturers, and stores to ensure proper execution of plans Follow up on ongoing orders Responsible for checking adequate stock in fast-moving items. Improving profitability by reducing costs. Gathering information on market trends and customers’ reactions to products and Conduct product training. Develop relationships at the store/mall for future business expansion Head Stock availability and slow-moving stock transfer Experience in backend system management, managing offline retailers, warehouse management & making challan Responsible for sales & MIS reporting Qualifications Ability to work on-site Possess the strong ability to understand and act upon financial retail indicators such as sales, inventory productivity, and sell-through. Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong computer skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Excel for reporting and analysis Broad-based business acumen EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE- Must Bachelor’s degree preferably with a business background 4+ years of general merchandising experience, Buying and Brand Building Experience in Footwear will be added on Location: - Mumbai, Santacruz(W)Job tags
