KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Serve as the strategic partner and SPOC to Viu South Africa and Myanmar Business Team which include CRO, Country Manager and extended team. Partnership scope includes working with business team on 360-degree digital marketing needs – deliver key user KPIs (New user acquisition, User engagement, Subscriptions, Revenue etc.), budget and portfolio management, campaign planning & delivery. Coordinate with digital marketing team delivery heads, including acquisition, retention/ CRM and analytics, as required, to build and deliver on digital marketing plans and requirements. Maintain extensive communication across stakeholders and build strong strategic relationships. Drive business and delivery teams towards business plan achievement and success on key metrics on scale and efficiency. Align stakeholders regularly on developments, target achievement and initiatives. In concert with other members of the organization, take a "big picture" perspective and seek to maximize our total digital marketing return.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

5+ Years of experience working with many digital marketing channels and MarTech tools with significant exposure to paid digital marketing. Bachelor’s from a tier 1 institute (preferably a Tier 1 technical/ analytical degree – Comp. Sc./ Math/ Statistics). Post graduate degree will be preferred. Understanding of various issues pertaining to digital marketing with the ability to problem solve situations and build robust systems and processes to perpetuate best practices and optimal overall digital marketing performance. Hands on with programmatic channels (Google, Facebook, TikTok and Snapchat), ad networks. High attention to detail, top-notch analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. Ability to build business cases, persuasive data-driven communications to key stakeholders to drive alignment on key priorities and implementation plans. Ability to roll-up sleeves and get hands-on to deliver key KPIs as required. Excellent communication skills sideways, upwards and with team members. Interpersonal skills are a prerequisite for success. Experience in customer analytics and/or Digital Marketing Analytics will be preferred. Understanding Big Query/R and Python will be an added advantage.
