Summary

A DevOps engineer is responsible for the smooth operation of a company's IT infrastructure. They work with developers & Release Managers to deploy and manage code changes, and with operations staff to ensure that systems are up and running smoothly. To be successful in this role, a DevOps engineer must have a deep understanding of CI/CD concepts, development, and operations processes, as well as a strong technical background in Kubernetes, Jenkins, Azure and any other relevant cloud technology. Ability to use tools/ python scripts and automate tasks wherever possible.

KeyRolesandResponsibilities

• Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Proficient with Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure git and git workflows
• Problem-solving attitude
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
• Troubleshooting techniques and identifying root cause for build failures
• Monitoring the processes during the entire life-cycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
• Hands on exp in using ELK / Splunk OR any related log monitoring tools.
• Ability to use tools/scripts and automate tasks wherever possible.

Primary / Mandatory skills:

• Stronghands-onworkingknowledgeinLinux/Unix,Kubernetes/Docker
• HandsonworkingexperiencewithAzure OR any other cloud technology.
• ExperiencewithAzureinfrastructure,includingmonitoringandmaintainingAzurecompute,storage,networkandsecurityservices.
• ExperiencewithPython,Shell, Ruby,Perlorotherscriptinglanguage
• Requires proficiency of the following software development methodologies and automated build/release applications: Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledgeofwebservices,API,REST.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, NodeJS, Java
• Strongawarenessofnetworkingandinternetprotocols,includingTCP/IP,DNS,
• Good knowledge on versioning and branching schemas, build and artifact distribution, Artifactory, SonarQube
• Able to analyze and solve complex software release problems under deadline constraints.
• Effective written and oral communication skills required.

MinimumRequirements:
.5-7+yearsoverallexperience
.3+yearsLinux/Unixhands-ontechnicalroles
.2+ years into automation

BS/MSinTechnicaldegree:ComputerScience,Engineering,Math,orsimilardegree.

Additional information (if any): Rotational shifts, resource should be ready to work in rotational Shift duties.
