Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Pune for a Junior Drilling Performance Engineer. As part of the team at gekko, you will work closely with the drilling and engineering teams to analyze drilling performance data and provide recommendations to optimize drilling performance. As a Junior Drilling Performance Engineer, you will be responsible for analyzing static drilling data, monitoring drilling performance metrics, identifying opportunities to optimize drilling performance, and monitoring drilling engineering best practices.

We are looking for either graduate engineers with a degree in Petroleum Engineering or candidates with 1-3 years industry experience in drilling or a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Petroleum preferred) or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience with software and data analytics tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Experience with cloud-based technologies is a plus
