Job description
We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to join our Delivery Management Team in Bangalore, India. This is an amazing opportunity to work with, typically, one big development team, or within two medium-sized teams, including newly formed or challenging teams.
As a Senior Delivery Manager, you will guide the planning process, track progress (including timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and issues), communicate to stakeholders, enable collaboration among cross-functional team(s) and drive continuous improvement of processes to gain efficiencies.
About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishments
You have 8+ years of experience coming from either:
Technical Project Management knowledge and experience, including Agile methodologies, demonstrated as part of/within current/previous role(s) and/or
You have worked on a technology team contributing to software development (you have worked within the Software Development Life Cycle).
Experienced in facilitating and managing discussions with Business Unit director level stakeholders, including technical discussions, within your multidisciplinary teams and up/downstream of them.
Experienced in working with team(s)/project(s) and have a well-understood approach to planning and forecasting at both ticket and project level (including capacity planning, timelines, dependency management).
You have a 2-3 years experience with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Teams.

Understanding/exposure to Agile transformation within organization.
Detailed knowledge of software development/delivery lifecycle (SDLC) & agile best practices (like DevOps, BDD, CI/CD, …).
PMP/SAFe SM certification is highly encouraged.
What will you be doing in this role.
Drive your team to deliver value, improve the flow of work & delivery of output/outcomes and reduce the bottleneck & minimize waste. You proactively understand & manage your teams'/projects' risks, issues & dependencies.
Ensure your team(s)/project(s) have a well-understood approach to prioritization, scoping, decision-making, planning & forecasting at both ticket & project level.
This approach balances sensibly between up-front and as-you go planning, makes trade-offs & assumptions clear, and is centered on driving measurable outcomes at both strategic and tactical levels.
Ensure reporting is timely, accurate, clear and data driven. Your stakeholders always know what is going on in your team and what they need to do.
Facilitate and manage discussions & organize efficient, purposeful and well-written meetings, including technical discussions, within your multidisciplinary teams as well as up/downstream dependent/contributing teams.
Manage the partnership of Tech and Product, and are a valued escalation point for any team member and can resolve issues within your team.
Ensure clear & continuous improvement cycle, with a measurable history of proactively engaging with and improving their most pressing problems the Delivery Manager will often lead in pushing for change outside their team(s) /project(s) where it is necessary.

You will be a part of the Delivery Team and potentially work with any of the Intellectual Property development teams.
About the Team
As a principal team (line hierarchy org / functional BU) you will be part of & report into Delivery Management Team. In a matrix organization, you will be assigned to one or more Delivery Teams (Teams working on building a software product and inclusive of all required functions) based on the requirements and business priorities.
Hours of Work
45-hours per week, minimum 2 days in the office per week, permanent full-time position.
