Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food & Beverage Captain to join our team at AIPL. As the Food & Beverage Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing the food and beverage operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, and is a full-time position.
Qualifications and Skills
- 4 to 6 years of experience in the hospitality industry
- Proven experience in hospitality management
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations
- Strong guest service management skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and software used in the industry
- Certification in food safety and hygiene
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all food and beverage activities
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Manage and train the food and beverage staff
- Ensure the highest levels of customer service
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues
- Create and update menus, taking into consideration seasonal and local ingredients
- Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed
- Monitor and control costs to achieve profitability
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Liaise with vendors and negotiate contracts
- Stay updated on industry trends and implement innovative ideas
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
