About this role: As a Payroll & HR Generalist at Hyring.com, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and accurate execution of payroll processes while also providing comprehensive HR support to employees and management. You will be responsible for managing payroll functions, handling employee inquiries, assisting in HR-related tasks such as onboarding, benefits administration, and maintaining accurate HR records. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess strong organizational skills, and have a deep understanding of payroll procedures and HR policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including but not limited to, calculating wages, deductions, and overtime, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  2. Process payroll adjustments, including new hires, terminations, promotions, and changes in compensation or benefits.
  3. Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations, and act as a point of contact for benefit-related inquiries.
  4. Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company guidelines.
  5. Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientation sessions, preparing employment contracts, and conducting exit interviews.
  6. Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  7. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, policies, and other HR-related matters in a timely and professional manner.
  8. Assist in the development and delivery of HR-related training programs and materials.
  9. Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
  10. Stay informed about changes in labor laws, regulations, and industry trends, and make recommendations for process improvements as needed.
