Job description
Job Responsibilities
. Supervising GST compliance (returns, e-invoice, ITC reconciliations etc.) for all hotels in the region (100 + GSTIN)
. Ensuring correct filing of GST returns
. Preparing GST MIS for senior management
. Taking new GST registration and amendments in existing registration certificate, Filing of LUT etc.
. Co-ordination with hotels for various reports/ information/ data collection and consistent accounting and tax positions
. Review of hotel data, Trial balance and co-ordinating with hotels to ensure that corrections have been made in the systems and corrective actions have been taken
. Digital initiatives to improve the compliance
. Monitoring and tracking litigation / GST audit and support to hotels
. Ensuring data is uploaded in the litigation tool
. Co-ordination with Statutory Auditors for contingent liability statement and other tax related issues
. Advising the hotels on day to day routine queries pertaining to GST
. Preparation & circulation of various tax alerts and FAQs to keep informed the hotels of the changes/amendments in GST laws
