Job description
Role: Security Engineer
Location: Noida – Remote Work
Exp level: 3+ years of experience in identifying, analyzing, security risks and vulnerabilities.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for identifying, analyzing, security risks and vulnerabilities and proposing mitigation.
Creating and maintaining vulnerability management policies, procedures, and training.
Experience with vulnerability assessment, Container Security, patch management, OWASP top 10.
Understand attack vector, attack complexity, CIA impact, privileges required, user interaction, etc. for vulnerabilities.
Provide subject matter expertise on security issues and technical guidance to engineering teams on risk & impact of vulnerability.
Help stakeholders understands connections between identified issues and up- and down-stream processes.
Help drive contention on vulnerabilities between security and developers.
Working closely with business-oriented executives and security leads to ensure adequate processes are in place and actions are being taken to mitigate identified risks proactively.
Use automation wherever possible to reduce the technical debt.
Develop security guidance to address gaps and to build best practices and recommendations for improving security strategies.
Responds to customer and partner security issues in a timely manner.
Work with team members to find an appropriate technical solution for security requirements.
Candidate Requirements/Must have skills:
2-5 years of computer security industry experience utilizing reverse engineering and knowledge of security/threat landscape.
1+ years of technical skills with C, C++, C#, and scripting languages (Python/PowerShell/JS) and relational databases.
Working knowledge of Windows operating system internals and security
Working knowledge of Azure fundamentals.
