Role: Junior Technical Writer JD Location: Hyderabad, India (Hybrid)
Education/experience/preferred skills: · Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, and a minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in technical writing. · Familiarity with at least one authoring tool such as MadCap Flare, XMetal, Oxygen XML,Adobe RoboHelp, or Confluence and a proven ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies. · Proficiency in at least one diagramming tool (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io) to create visual representations of technical processes, workflows, and system architectures. · A strong ability to work independently and produce high-quality documentation with minimal supervision. Must be self-motivated and with commitment to meeting project deadlines and objectives. · Experience in latest technologies, including cloud technologies and IoT, or any of the sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, and media and entertainment, is advantageous.Your ability to adapt your technical writing skills to different sectors is highly valued. Responsibilities: Client Collaboration: Work closely with clients to understand their documentation needs, style guides, and tools. Build and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring their requirements are met. Adherence to Client Style Guides: Ensure that all documentation produced aligns with the client's established style guides, including formatting, tone, and branding requirements. Project Integration: Seamlessly integrate into client projects, becoming an essential part of the team. Understand the project's goals, objectives, and timelines to produce relevant documentation. Requirements Analysis: Collaborate with clients to identify and analyze documentation requirements for their projects, ensuring that the content accurately conveys the technical information and meets their objectives. Documentation Creation: Develop high-quality, client-specific documentation, such as user manuals, technical guides, release notes, help articles, and any other required content. Ensure clarity, accuracy, and completeness. Tool Proficiency: Master the client's preferred documentation tools and systems, demonstrating expertise in their usage to create and manage documents efficiently. Documentation Maintenance : Keep client documentation up-to-date by making necessary revisions, updates, and improvements as technology, projects, or client requirements change. Client Satisfaction: Measure and maintain high levels of client satisfaction by providing exceptional service, effective communication, and delivering quality documentation that fulfills their project goals. Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry best practices, trends, and technologies, adapting and implementing new methods to enhance the quality and efficiency of client documentation.
