Position Access Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical Coding Operations leader to join our team in Chennai as Senior Director. The ideal candidate will have 18 years or more of experience in Medical Coding service delivery to US clientele, of which at least 5 years should be in a relevant leadership position responsible for service delivery management, transitions, account P&L and business outcomes. The position will report to the Vice President of Coding Operations. Work Location : Chennai Key Responsibilities Overseeing daily operations and service delivery outcomes of the Medical Coding business unit for assigned client accounts. Provide direction and strategic guidance for the Medical Coding business unit, to ensure continuously improving service delivery and consistently exceeding client expectations. Job Requirements Proficient in high- level coding specifics and updated on evolving industry standards Demonstrated leadership acumen in managing teams of 500 to 600 or more. Hands-on expertise in guiding new client transitions in the coding domain. Strong leadership capabilities in operational governance, data management, and fostering collaboration among diverse stakeholders. Excellent communication skills and the capability for client interactions and conflict resolution Expertise in financial management, revenue/cost analysis, strategic staff planning, and P&L management. Candidate must be willing to work full-time from our delivery center in Chennai and manage team members across multiple shifts. Skills/Certification/Experience 18 years of specialized experience in hospital coding, including at least 5 years in a relevant leadership role. Valid coding certification from either AAPC or AHIMA. Preference will be given to candidates with a valid B1/B2 visa and proven experience in onsite client engagement.
