This Job is for our respectful client - L&T. Qualifications:
1. Educational Background:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Tunneling, or a related field.
2. Experience: - Minimum of 15 years of experience in tunnelling projects.
- At least 10 years of experience in TBM tunneling.
- Minimum of 2 projects in the capacity of Project In Charge or one level below.
3. TBM Specialization: - Direct involvement in a minimum of 2 projects using TBM technology.
- Experience with Non-EPB Shielded Rock TBM.
- Minimum of 1 project with a finished inner diameter of 7.0m or larger.
Job Descriptions: 1. Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage TBM tunneling projects from inception to completion.
- Provide overall strategic direction and ensure project objectives are met within the specified timeframe and budget.
2. TBM Tunnel Expertise: - Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and expertise in TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) tunneling techniques and methodologies.
- Oversee the application of TBM technology throughout the project life cycle.
3. Project Planning and Execution: - Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Execute projects efficiently, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
4. Team Management: - Build and lead a project team, fostering collaboration and maintaining a positive working environment.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to project staff, ensuring their professional development.
5. Client Communication: - Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and clients.
- Communicate project progress, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
6. Risk Management: - Identify potential risks and challenges in project execution and develop strategies for mitigation.
- Implement risk management protocols to minimize project disruptions.
7. Contract Management: - Oversee contract negotiations and administration, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with legal and procurement teams as needed.
8. Quality Assurance and Control: - Implement and monitor quality control processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality tunneling projects.
- Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with specifications.
9. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): - Uphold and enforce safety protocols and environmental standards on the project site.
- Implement HSE policies to create a safe working environment.
